Healing Trauma
A Journey of Self-Discovery and Empowerment
The word trauma literally means wound. So trauma is not what happened to you but is the wounds that occurred as a result of what happened to you. So many individuals struggle to find the cause of their psychological or behavioural difficulties as they have not been taught about trauma or what the impact of it is. My training and experience show me that many mental health issues have their roots in obvious and subtle traumas.
Healing from trauma is a unique and transformative journey that allows you to reconnect to intuition, reclaim your inner strength and find peace within yourself. In my practice, I provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore and process what is happening for you right now helping you find stability. You will also learn about trauma and how it specifically impacted you and continues to impact you. By tapping into your inner wisdom, compassion, and resilience, we can unlock your potential to overcome trauma and create lasting change.

The Power of Somatically Focused Therapy To Reclaim Your Past
I am a certified practitioner of Compassionate Inquiry, a gentle method developed by Dr. Gabor Maté. With it we’ll explore your experiences and emotions, revealing the root causes of your trauma. Together, we’ll explore the connection between childhood development, attachment wounds, and trauma. With somatic modalities I’ll support you to connect with, and develop a relationship with your body, mind and emotions. We will cultivate your self-awareness and increase your innate capacity for healing, whilst releasing stuck energy, to heal the somatic effects of trauma. We’ll also uncover core beliefs that may no longer be serving you and support you to shift them.
I intuitively weave so many modalities into sessions including help you develop mindfulness, cultivate emotional balance and resilience and connect with your inner wisdom. I’ll share practical tools, psycho-education and frameworks to help you to develop self-confidence to trust in your own abilities to manage your mind and emotions. Our collaborative process will empower you to embrace your healing journey with courage, recognizing that the answers and resources you need are already present within you. You can heal from your past and live a connected and balanced life here in the present.
